Angelos Kotzias is a Greek multidisciplinary artist based in London Uk. His work spans disciplines and themes, engaging with cultural and historical identity, techno-ecological concerns, and existential thought.

Synthesizing complex textural surfaces with self-taught stitching techniques and references to multiple cultural backgrounds in painting and drawing, while also creating sculptural work exploring self-improvised circuitry and machinery that appear purposeful yet operate without clear necessity, engaging with modernised technological systems.  Kotzia’s work is a product of a complex urbanised environment, with roots and connections to nature, and a need to simplify and describe what is being observed.
